Watermelon Ice

Week 6 of the Summer of Color 2: Ice Cream Inspirations!

Watermelon Ice

This bright red was so surprising, and so fun.  When I looked at this ice cream flavour, and thought about it – a red hat came into my imagination.  So here is the hat, and more…

A summertime wish: a tryst with Eloni, the gnome.

I would like to thank Kristin at Twinkle, Twinkle for organizing this deliciously fun blog event!!  It has been so wonderful looking at all the different interpretations of the ice cream flavours.  It has been so much fun, that I am going to continue for the rest of the summer!!  Buying ice cream at the cottage this week made me look at all the flavours under the glass in a different way, and there are just so many more colour options, so I just have to keep going!!

Thanks for all the inspiration, everyone – and all the kind words!!

Lovely work – such a cute character, and so beautifully painted. I love the background texture too – it looks so right on that lovely green colour.
